Today pick up your self-drive rental car and travel through Geelong, at Torquay you will join the Great Ocean Road. Travel through the popular seaside resorts of Anglesea and Lorne before arriving at Apollo Bay. Your Accommodation in Apollo Bay is the lovely Claerwen Bed & Breakfast Retreat.

DAY 2 APOLLO BAY TO PORT FAIRY (195Kms)

Continue along the Great Ocean Road travelling to Port Fairy on the Ship Wreck coast. Once you have crossed the Otway Ranges you will arrive at the Port Campbell National Park. See the Twelve Apostles, London Bridge and Loch Ard Gorge, the scene of the dramatic shipwreck over 100 years ago. Continue on through Warrnambool before arriving at Port Fairy. The townís history goes back to the whaling days and at one time is was one of the largest ports in Australia, Your accommodation is at the Hearns Cottage Suites. The cottage is centrally located in the historic seafaring village and consists of two buildings. The original Victorian Building, restored to reflect the ambience of a past are showcases the old baltic walls and floor as well as local granites throughout the bathrooms and kitchens. The second building, newly constructed of Grampians sandstone, has six luxurious private suites.

DAY 3 PORT FAIRY TO ADELAIDE (450Kms)

Leaving Port Fairy today travel through Portland and across the Victorian in South Australian border to Mount Gambier. Continue on up the coast to Kingston S.E. and Murray Bridge before arriving into Adelaide. Your accommodation will be at the Adelaide Hills Country Cottages where you will experience peace, tranquillity and seclusion.
